What does it say for the production date now? It obviously must have gotten pushed back. You are referring to the production date in the prodDate data item and not when you went into the Production Begins status, right?

The date they gave me the day I ordered. I’ll nose around Saturday at the dealer. Need to look at wheels/all seasons for winter. But genius last week said finish should be 29th

Okay, they didn't give you the correct information. Dealers and Genius can give you your production week but in order to get your production date you need to use the "F12" process.

The car assembly itself only takes less than a day. The production date obtained via the F12 method is the planned date of that assembly day. All the rest of the timeline is ordering and waiting for parts to arrive for assembly, the delivery process, and any post-production/transportation repairs if needed.

You could probably identify the transport ship and track based on expected arrival. Charleston to Southampton, via Bremerhaven, assuming your car isn’t offloaded and goes via a different ship from Bremerhaven.

I finally decided to do the F12. (Work in front of 5 screens 14 hrs a day 6 days a week so staring at my own computer doesn’t get done much). Prod date is 10/28

Quick question about BNSF train tracking:

My car's train tracking status (via Norfolk Southern) has been the same for more than 24 hours now:

"Departed on flatcar - Parmerton, TX - October 24 @ 9:20pm"

Is it normal to be in this "departed" status for so long without another update? I've seen it remain in "intermediate arrival" status earlier, which wasn't surprising. But to have "departed" without further check-ins for more than 24 hours...?

Hope it didn't get sucked into the time vortex or something.

Follow up to my previous post: Finally got a new tracking update this morning. The train just passed Fort Sumner, NM. So it moved about 100 miles in 2 1/2 days. Hope the remainder of the journey goes slightly faster than that!

No, but I actually liked the look, but I think it will be a nightmare to clean especialy on the upper doorpanel where you rest your arm or have the windows down.

That definitely is not what the final assembly status means. It means that the shipping wrapping is put on and the vehicle made ready for transportation.
