I know the REAL operating cost is light-year more than what Robinson projects, but If I can dream....
I think most of major city charges $500-900 per drop off and pick up.

Yes, the Yaris was actually "home" for a few months, which is why I will never sell this car.

I started doing DIY on my 99' Avalon. I build lots of confidences working on that vehicle. I guess that is why it still runs great!

Last night, my lady friend and I met another girl in Raleigh when we went out for dinner and drinks, she came back with us after we were a little slooshed, things got a little heated, she freaked and said she had to go. No idea what clicked.

I sneezed in my motorcycle helmet about 15 times on my way into work this morning.

Then I proceeded to put too much sugar in my coffee.

now I'm realizing how miserable I'll be today unless something good finally happens.

I got out of my recording session too late to call to speak to a rep today (they close at 6pm west coast)

As of yesterday I was status 152 aka in the paint shop. Next step is 153 (assembly started)!!!

It should be completed by June 1st. I hope I can get by my 27th birthday (July 18th) however- if it's a few days off, I won't mind

Hahaah if you're ever in SoCal let me know and I'd gladly let you test drive it.

Ill post in the m6 forum as well as the OT forum (somehow I'll come up with a thread where I can incorporate photos of the car! )

No no no no, June 5th- it probably won't even be on a boat by then!

It's projected to arrive at the dealer mid July

Started scrubbing out the smell of tacos in the house this morning and cleaning all the crayola crayons from the grout. Place is starting to smell nice again.

I feel pretty high though. Probably shouldn't be at work. All them fumes.....

Yeah, we get gypped in here. It's all about the fun you don't get to experience in the rest of the subforums.

It's unfortunate...I mean, I love my 6er guys and all, but I think they'd exile me to the f8x forums if I posted half the things I say around here.

OT > all.

now i'm told it's not bad there at all. what do you think, young man? do you like it there? is the beach dirty? i feel like it will be dirty.

I'm not a native- I was born and raised in Seattle- however I do own a condo at the west ocean towers in DTLB

Downtown Long beach is awesome. Friendly, laid back, everything you'd expect from a beach city. There are a lot of sketchy areas, like if you take pine Ave up to 10th street/wrigley area/north long beach though.

I don't go to the beach unless Im running though...so as far as beach quality- no idea. I would say they're not that much worse than OC- but I honestly don't go in, so can't help you there :

If you want the beach dont go in Long Beach. There is always a bunch of oil and what not from the port.

that's good to know, thanks.

next time i'm in seal beach we should drink and eat shepherd's pie together.

don't be confused by the beach comment. i'm not native either as i'm originally form Chicago so i really was just curious. from what i understand, OC beaches are the best in california. i don't really go there to swim but i like to look at them.

i'm glad you like it but mine is pretty basic and if you ordered an M6 you could easily lease a Porache Cayman GTS with a few options. probably not a 911 turbo though.

i was actually going to get an m6 after my 550i but found the porsche for about the same price and liked being seated closer to the wife when going on our canyon drives.

i had to get the lexus for her though and guests because we sometimes need the extra room.

the new cayman's look stupid good imo and handle like a dream with their sweet mid-engines.

I appreciate those words. I'm fairly conservative with how I spend- decided to buy a couple different properties rather than get a nice car a few years back, but now that things have eased up, I saw the opportunity to get into an individual m6. I first looked at an r8 v10, however- there was something "missing" from the car. I'm also not the type to want a car that has "super car looks" (if that makes sense). I enjoy sleepers, frankly because- as much as I hate to admit this, I'm an artist, so I'm moody as hell at times. I recognize- with those type of cars, you have to expect the attention, and if you aren't willing, people come off as a douche. So the m6, built the way I did felt apropos for a starter into the realm of these high performance vehicles.

The new caymans really do look good! Definitely something to look forward to.

And man, I know what you mean about your Lexus. I've considered getting rid of my Yaris for something more spacious (I have a big bulldog and lord knows he's not riding in the m6 once it gets here in the summer) but we'll see. What city of OC are you living in?

Who the hell told you that? I would not listen to them to even get the time. There's places in SD way better than 97% of OC, Santa Barbara and central coast way nicer and if you just want to admire the ocean and Mother Nature the north coast by Humboldt/Eureka is awesome. BTW i'm in the water 3 or 4 times a week so it's kind of built up over 40+ years of that.

Agree with everything you said about LB...I do go to Seal Beach quite a bit to hang out/walk on the beach though.
