Well... Once again, it happens!
Now let's set the scene right. 2020 M240, just cracked 18k miles, so it's seldom I take her out. Even more seldom I'll go somewhere that requires parking it in a lot for a commercial retail establishment. So there you have it, pick a spot that's a nice walk away from ANYTHING! And come out returning to the car to see this! Yeah you can park anywhere of course. But this guy is lucky my wife was with me or I would've waited for him to return and provide realization for the error and return the F U appropriately! |

And tell your wife if she is alone to be REAL careful around big vehicles parked right by her car. It's a pretty common carjack/mugging ploy, would've hinked me out a little. And thanks for Vreihen's nicer take on it, probably right that he is doing you a favor but I'm a cynical sob at this point.

Is pretty funny how you think somehow this guy did the right thing! Weird funny, like warped! Trying to justify it? Bottom line is he should thank his lucky starts that Karma favored him today! Action has consequences, and hopefully Karma will pay him back otherwise. |

I'm not trying to justify the van driver's jackwagon parking, because I agree that he/she could have moved over one space or over against the concrete island a whole 15 feet away in the next empty row.....

Now I'm more worried about Colonblow and his urges to make people eat thru a straw. There really are worse things than bad parking.

I do get a chuckle thinking that there is a #vanlife forum in some parallel universe where a van owner is chiding a BMW driver for selfishly parking in what they perceive to be their home[less] camp site, because they spent so much money on their Instagram van that they can't afford a house or to stay at a campground.....

So I've been frequenting this parking lot at my local Kent (DIY) store quite a bit lately. Yesterday I saw a lovely old MB which I posted a photo of to "Cool Pic Thread- Vehicles". Some of you may have noticed it.
Today when I pulled in I noticed a nice, old Camaro sitting way out in the nether acres of the parking lot. As I was driving the "Office" ( crew cab with full 8' box) I parked out there too. I don't fit in one parking spot so as not to be a dick I choose to walk. I left two empty spaces between me and the Camaro. There was nobody parked between him and the store. I was inside no more than 10 minutes. When I came out this is what I saw... some moron in a Mazda jammed right up beside him! Why? There was more than enough room to stay away which is obvious from the photos. He did at least leave enough room for opening doors without any risk of dings but still...
