I think he just zeroes in in our biggest weaknesses and make it feel like that void being filled. I've seen him with a few words giving a woman a whole new outlook on herself and that makes us fall for him instantly. The best part is that when he did move on, no matter how long he was around anyone, the women relished the new view. As an example my best friend in the team who had a huge complex about her nose. A weekend in our summerhouse and him and she got a piercing after we went back to the city and her self esteem went through the roof.

My friend and I just don't understand why girls fall for these guys who basically treat them like crap or aren't going anywhere with their lives.

For example, we were hanging around talking about work and our cars, and these rusted civics with fart cans came around and they had a little meet across the parking lot from us (we were around 7 guys, 3 of us had girlfriends, was a mix of 335s, e92 m3s and STI's) and all of them had a girlfriend, if I had to pick a number between 1-10 on hotness level, I would say between 8-9, and I have pretty high standards.

Which brings this question.

It's the same thing in reverse. They make the girls feel unworthy of anything better and the girls cling on to them. You could easily reverse that.

Because of my lovely upbringing done by a bitch of a mother, I knew I wasn't worthy, I ran away. For a rebound I found myself the biggest jerk of all times, I swear to coffee even the sex sucked. I still can't believe I actually touched him even with a stick.

The only thing my ex did wrong was to not make me confront my own insecurities where as the jerk afterwards made me realize in a matter of weeks how fucked up I was. For that lesson I will always be grateful and I probably be still running from my past if not for him.

The lesson should be never be a jerk, but you'd probably get more results by being one, just enough to find the right button to push and then using that.

I have a coworker whose gf NEVER wants to have sex, even though she cums every time - he has to work very hard to try and get her into it, and even then it's rare. I don't blame him for complaining, and for the multiple times they've broken up because of it. However, I've never had complaints about "hey why don't you wanna bang four times a day anymore?" With decreases due to lack of work/life balance or relationship problems, I could tell he was frustrated, but he was always very kind about it and never pressured me. I felt guilty about it as well; we're human and we have needs.

I don't think complaints would do you any good. If anything, put in the effort that you would have put in when you first met her - be romantic, focus on foreplay, etc etc. While I'm all for the random sex initiated in lighthearted ways ("giiiirl come sit on the D"), it makes a world of difference when you actually get us in the mood first.

It's all about the insecurity. I was a major ugly duckling (not that I'm a swan now), and was always a huge loser (I read Lord of the Rings 72 times) and no one liked me. I also have huge daddy issues (my dad is nuts and never spent time with me). Eventually, I apparently got mildly cute enough that people would bang me, and so I was a bit of a slut, because I finally had a way to get people (guys!) give me attention and affection. I let terrible people use me and spent my time with them, because I was totally insecure and desperate for that kind of attention, and could never dream that I'd deserve anything better. They didn't have to demean me, I just didn't have anyone to tell me otherwise. Fortunately I grew out of it, but some people never do. It's sad.
