A drivers' war is indeed ineviteable when you have a dual top tier driver lineup in 1 team.
Especially when they are titlecontenders.
Even now early in the season you heard how careful the team brings the message that the drivers need to switch position. HAM already sputtered over the radio that LEC had to get close....
Later in the season when things start to matter....the atmosphere will get worse.

The same will happen this year between PIA and NOR.

I'm looking forward to those radio messages. It usually creates iconic moments in motorsports

Actually I thought the bump up was more on Charlie. From one replay review it looked like Charlie kinda bounced off the curb and slid into hammy

Also thought they worked pretty well. There for a few laps Charlie had dropped back a little and I didn't expect hammy to let him through. But then he closed up again and he did. I don't have a problem with how they worked together today

Every driver's biggest competitor is his teammate at some point. And the closer they are and the later in the season, the more important it gets to defend your own interests. No driver benefits from a teammate in a higher position in the WDC.

Nothing. It would've just cause Hammy to loose points in favour of Charles (not regarding putting Hammy on a 2 stop). Why would Hammy agree with that?
LEC being faster was a very limited moment in the race, he never came close to RUS (which was the speculation) and switching postions back...it never came to that but they could've done that just before the finish.

I have no beef with ferrari (or HAM for that matter! ) but if I was HAM, I would have mixed feelings.
I would've raced LEC under 'papaya rules'
