Why do you say it is unclear? When you do the credit app you get a no-harm lock so you can get the current ones and can pick the ones current at delivery if they are better.

Are you all having any luck getting discounts off MSRP? Imagine it will be hard for the first deliveries.

Anyone getting the Vegas Red color? I don’t know whether red works on a SUV. You certainly don’t see many of them on the road.

The other thing is UK dealers will want to shift what they can deliver, and UK cars are from SA, not US, so not the same allocation and production window as US orders.

I received an email yesterday from my BMW dealer offering £15.5k off a new M and low APR PCP. There wasn't much dealer interest in pushing the G45.

It's not Vegas Red, but Aventurin Red works well for my eyes on a roughly similarly-shaped G01. Vegas Red is not extremely different (see sample X2 photo), such as "fire truck" red might be. There is a twin to mine somewhere in our area, but you are correct that they are the minority. The German Color Scale does dominate sales volume, for better or worse.

Aventurin Red no longer appears to be a choice in the Order Guide for the G45. It was a premium $1500 paint (like Tanzanite Blue II) but was probably not very popular!

I've never seen one in wholesale inventory. I agree it was not popular to buy, but from other's in-person comments, it seems to be popular to look at. Vegas Red takes its place in the color space and the economics do seem to have been rearranged.

always be sure to pair it with the buy rate as dealers love to do a full mark up on the MF or APR

I'm curious about the 6% discount for the west coast. Where do you get this number?

I was just offered 2k off msrp plus incentives. The 2k off with my build come to a 2.7% discount. I’ve countered.

He is a broker so those are what he is seeing from dealers.

You can always ask. Whether the laugh at you or give it to you is up to them as far as their current pricing strategy. I would actually go in an say you are looking for a little higher discount to give them some room to come down to your desired percentage.
