Yeah, you might want to just stay inside the house. I mean a flying rock could hit you in the head as you walk out the door.

It’s the iconic-glow that gives it that appearance

Really hate that just about everyone is going to the full glass roof. At least it has the power shade that keeps the sun out. Wish my Tesla MYP had it but instead had to pay for tint and shade to help keep the sun out...
Surprised they didn't program the ambient lighting to dance with the music for the younger crowd... Think most will keep it off as it is a bit much unless I'm just showing my age... |

Now it’s only fixed glass because BMW is on a aggressive cost cutting spree Much of X3’s character was the panoramic roof that opened to the sky above ❕

Take a look through the products list at the following link. X4M, X5M, and X6M along with the XM are made in Spartanburg.
BMW Group Spartanburg Products I learned something today. X1 and X2 are not made in Spartanburg. |

I don't know, had a X3 M40 LCI until quite recently. I would say one of the biggest reasons I didn't keep it longer was the interior. The centre console with gloss black trim and cup holder cover didn't scream quality, also the large iDrive unit stuck on the top of the dash just seems an after-thought. The pre-LCI X5 I have now feels much more solid and resolved, the new X3 'looks' more cohesive to me.

Not defending their decision necessarily. But the new pano roof is a single sheet of glass that covers both the front and rear seats, without the seam in the middle for the opening mechanism. So there is an aesthetic upgrade in the new design. It's not strictly less than what the previous models had. It's more of a tradeoff.

Someone pls tell me why the USA has to destroy every cars rears end by putting those hideous trailer couplings there? In Europe we use electronically retractable trailer hitch which can tow up to 3,5t, the max. which an x5 is allowed to pull and these are 100% hidden.

Take new X3 out of my list of potential buys...that interior for me is a deal breaker...everything else looks great.
