Is there a demand for drone photography/videography?

Cheesy music ya, and I made a few mistakes in it but it was nothing formal, Just something I put together quick while we were on vacation. Normally i would have cleaned up some things , moved cars etc. did I mention it was incredibly windy!

I've learned a lot more since then. Still makes you pucker when you are over water. There's a lot more to it than most think about, weight vs flight time, balance, gimbal settings, radio frequencies....blah blah blah

OP, did you end up getting a drone?

Ever since this thread and seeing Rotorocious 's drone video, I wanted to make one too! Finally did it, although I wasn't the one controlling it.

There sure is!

Basically three different photogs offered the service for our wedding coming up in July.

My fiance is good friends with one of the photogs, and we got an $800 service for free

My friend is a photographer and he just bought one and loves it. He has 12 weddings booked and all 12 took the bait to have the drone flyover.

Make sure your pal understands the regulations on commercial use in Canada and has the right permits in pace.

Most of the use is inside the banquet hall, so shouldn't be an issue. I'm sure he's read up on usage as he's a pretty established photog.
