The Veyron is super cool but the LaFerrari has a NA engine. Makes me more happy that it spanked the FI P1. Dump the turbo hybrids and build big NA engine plug-in hybrids. Best of both worlds. You go Ferrari

If it's the 2nd one I'm really curious why you would pick a F40 over the new hypercars out now.

The 157 trap is pretty absurd. I have a feeling Ferrari sent a ringer. They have in the past lol

They are just protecting their brand image which is huge for them. Losing hurts them more than winning benefits them. If I see a comparison and they pick the 458 as a winner, to me it's no big deal.. It's like ok Ferrari wins. If they pick a car over the 458 it's like wtjdjksjjd Ferrari lost??
It didn't surprise me at all that the LaFerrari was faster, it didn't damage the P1s image. If the P1 was faster, it would really hurt the LaFerraris image.

Well, supposedly the CC8S and CCR would run the 1/4 mile in the low to high 9 sec range and around 145 mph. Those were 4.7 supercharged V8 and those cars did weigh well under 3k lbs but I dont know if those numbers were ever reproduced given on how limited those cars were made since the company was just starting out.
N/A, hybrid, FI, I don't care. If it makes power and there is room to grow, let me have it! |
