Wow it only took you guys 3 months to realize this! When I tried to discuss this months ago I was labelled a fanboy. Too funny. Audi is going to lay the smack down, but it will be pricey.

mjovic,
Your not a fanboy for liking something that happens to look on the face of it a brilliant driver's car. When it gets DSG and Sport Diff (similar to X6's X-Drive) this will be a real rival to the 335i in every sense of the word. Better choice for everyone. |

AUDI has not OFFICIALLY announced any Engine info about this new S4. So we dont know for sure if it that would have TT, V8 or Supercharger.

but for sure B8 Audi S4 looks great. The exterior looks are really something to die for. Interior quality will most likely be excellent, following Audi's tradition. Problem is really the driver involvement, handling and feel....something that BMW always have that Audi struggles in

Another thing, this A4 which was quicker than the S5 on Hockenhiem was also equipped with adaptive suspension and steering, similar to the M3 so maybe when this comes to the S5 we may see a big improvement on it's times too. Especially on the ring where I personally was very disappointed with it's time when you consider all the effort that was put into the chassis to only find a 3 second improvement over the old car. |

my first twin turbo was an s4. Black 2000. One of my all time favorite cars, next to the 335i of course.

It's not that I'm not happy with my 335i, but deep down inside me, it's still not perfect, the looks somehow is just missing something.
If the S4 really does look like what it does in the pics, and drives like the 335, that's a godly combination. Just look at it, the B8 S4....man what a sight, what a presence.

And, what does he mean, "the turbos are mounted in the engine bay?" Other than that, the B5 S4s were awesome cars and still are. It still is a good buy if the previous owner maintained his/her Audi. |

If you read my post again, I mentioned WHERE the turbos are actually mounted in the engine bay. Something about about one of them overheating or something due to it's actual location in the bay...

If this is true and shows up at the dealerships, then I'd want to test drive one.. I've always seen Audi's are nice luxury cars, and the owners of the cars enjoy a easy ride. Gotta admit though, Audi's new line of cars are STUNNING

I had three of them...they werent any better or worse than any other car I have owned. I had a 2000 S4 sedan, 2001 S4 Avant, and then several years later I had a 2001 S4 sedan.
