While you may have failed this time around, I don't think your reputation in other endeavors has been stained. While trying something new is always fun, this can either be tempered with lack of talent/skill or even worse, doing something so mind-numbing that your eyes are glazing in boredom.

My wife is all excited, she says she knows someone who works at the water treatment plant and they are looking for new employees, good salary and benefits package. Me I'm not so sure, sounds like a crap job to me.
