The cars belong to the Qatari royal family. Their kids tend to bring them over to the UK in the summers and as one would expect with a bunch of super rich, unaccountable 20 somethings, asshatery happens. These people fly the cars over on their private A380/747 and roll with armed bodyguards. They think the UK is just like back home where they can have somebody beheaded if they wanted to. Sadly, the UK authorities bend over to prove them right.

Probably one of the billion Saudi "princes" are whatever the trash call themselves. Apparently they are renting out the house or something for awhile. Would have loved to have seen a female police officer roll up and just beat the ever loving crap out of him.
One phone call and he's off with a warning, nothing will happen to this guy. |

I was just thinking the same thing with the plate and reading comments from the first video.
They'll be given a warning and nothing else. Even if they were to do it again, they'll get a warning and probably have the cars impounded. Which then they'll probably not have to pay to get them back because of them being in the "status" they are. Freaking ridiculous that people like them can get away with anything. But if any one of us were to do something in their country that is against their countries law, then we'd be in jail or fined to the max! Spoiled rich brats that need their asses beat. |

While most of us don't drive exotics, it's a good reminder that on the public roads, we should always be on our best behavior and hot-dogging it in a dangerous situation like this even makes people dislike car enthusiasts more. Better to behave well, you are much likely to gain more advocacy and share in your enjoyment of fine automobiles.

Wouldn't matter. They'd get away with it, sent back to their country and would never be allowed back into the US. All the while their country folk wouldn't think less of them as they are "royal" probably so since they don't have a voice in whom are considered "royal".

Ah so these idiots also take their cars over to the US? Saw a bunch of crazy idiots back in London last summer with Qatar/Saudi/UAE plates driving like total asshats in the city with their exotics.

I see them all the time in London. Gorgeous Aventador crashed last year, that I used to see hooning quite frequently and is parked in Knightsbridge.

So apparently, from YouTube comments, the guy was pissed because Ferrari didn't let him paint the car pink for his wife and he told the Ferrari rep he was going to make Ferrari look bad

I would agree about the Ferrari, but I've met a bunch of GT3 owners and they're pretty cool. It's their track cars so they don't even drive them on the street. They're towed to the track. I know...pretty tough life!

Now since they have diplomatic immunity.
The Nissan driver cannot press charges. How would they file an insurance claim against the LaF driver? Especially since they are driving cars registered in Qatar within the United States? |
