Your race seems to be about right
E93 has alot of extra weight and 350z with mods definitely helped him.

My friend has a APS twin turbo kit on his G35 400whp 330tq and I just have JB2H and intake. I didnt dyno my car but its probably around like 340hp 360tq. As much as I would like to think i am a good driver. he would always beat me by half a car from 40mph-120mph. Then few nights ago, i let another friend who is a really good driver drive my car for the first time to race the G35 TT and this time we beat him by half a car ( I was the passenger) and G35 TT was by himself. We won because i wasnt driving my car and also its the first time i turned off tracion control (pressing it once) so it release all my ponies to run wild, which is still better than engine being cut out.

i personally owned a 350z before and my 335 feels way way faster than the Z. Unless the Z is twin turbo'd, i highly doubt there is a chance for it to beat u.

What year is the Z? Even with those mods, I would still expect the 335i to pull or at least be even. As mentioned, the weight of the e93 is really holding you back.

traction on and off makes a huge difference in a race... when I had my G, I once beat a Z by 2 cars length cuz he had traction control on...

That should make for an interesting race. A typical vortech Z has roughly 400whp, but only about 330wtq.

The numbers are almost switched on a chipped N54, with around 380wtq and 330whp.

A turbo Z with 400whp, would also have about 400wtq and would be a good deal faster than a 400whp SC Z.
