im not attracted to a bulky heavy big size V8 producing tons of torque and handles like shit. i'd get an american muscle instead.

I know the internet is used almost solely by well-endowed professional race car drivers/neuro-surgeons dating supermodels, but the truth is the average buyer of a new M3 or C63 couldn't get the most out of either car, the Stig would beat them both at the track in a base Honda Fit with a mis-firing cylinder, and odds are he'd consider the purchase of either car by anyone on this forum a waste of a perfectly nice car.

The 6.2l V8 is actually lighter than the 4.0l V8 in the M3, fyi. This car deserves a lot of credit for being the first decent AMG in a long long time.

To the people saying just buy a Corvette, that doesn't make any sense. They're not comparable. One's a practical sedan; the other a focused sports car.

Oh and in regards to my name, it's just a random ass name. I'm able to appreciate all types of cars so long as they're good.

I don't care, you'll never see an enthusiast driving c63.
Just a bunch wanna be's that couldn't swing e63 AMG. |

I can not wait to demo the C63. Do not see myself going for it since I am really leaning towards a coupe. If what most of the reviews are saying and my previous experience riding in AMGs are true, than it will not work for me anyway. As a daily driver, AMGs are often rough riders. This is what Wheels said about the ride quality of the C63 vs M3 and it seems to be consistent with other reviews. That is even for a car that does not handle as well. So the choice seems to be give up ride quality & handling for awesome power. Nice to have choices.
Wheel Magazine: "Sadly, the same cannot be said of the C63, whose ride is as poor as the BMW’s is plush. Unlike the beautifully damped C-Class, the stiffer set-up and wider track of the AMG car collude to provide plenty of crashing through bumps and potholes to an uncomfortable degree. Maybe that’s to be expected in a sporting sedan but it (a) feels agricultural compared with the M3 and (b) seems at odds with the C63’s bottomless pit of torque, auto transmission and four-door body that otherwise make it a seriously good grand tourer." |

Few things:
1) Don't compare the C63 to past AMGs. They're shit. I still believe that. This one's different. Trust me, I have a lot o experience driving past AMGs. They're a harsh ride, have an underwhelming engine, have a sluggish trans., and have nothing special in the ways of handling adjustments and steering feel. This thing's different. Get that through your heads people. Please. 2) The C63's suspension is MUCH better than a 335i with a sport suspension. It keeps body roll in check much better, yet it's less bumpy of a ride. Admittedly, compared to the new M3 with the EDC control, the advantage goes to the BMW.

I've driven multiple AMGs. My mom used to own an 05 CLK55. It sucked ass. The only thing noteworthy was the exhaust note at WOT. I've driven an SL55. I've driven an SLK55. I've driven a CLS63. None of them compare. Each one of those is more comparable to a GT than anything else.
In order for an e92 to have a similar ride, one would have to install a stiffer suspension and ditch the POS RFTs. Simple enough, but stock for stock the C63's ride is hella impressive.

Oh, and it's different in that it doesn't have a shitty ride, a slushy gearbox, a sluggish engine, and crappy handling/road feel.
