Combined with loyalty rebates on 3 and 4, the payment in 2017 is $10 better than 2015. I read an article survey that the 3-series is the car that most buyers of the new Tesla Model 3 are replacing it with. Honestly this whole marketing to the mainstream adventure is just not going well with BMW.

Without a doubt Tesla's making a dent into BMWs sales. No denying that. Those 600k pre-orders for the Model 3 is unprecedented.

Comparing 3 Series with the model 3 from Tesla is the largest nonsense ever.
But this is happening in US so it's not a really big surprise. High quality with low costs is not possible. |

I shopped nationwide and even picked up my 2 series in Maryland. The same dealer I got a killer deal(I got less than invoice) from couldn't even touch 2017 model rates. |

2018s won't hit dealers until next month. (Maybe 10 this month on the East coast.) Why incentivize a car that doesn't exist? If you want a 2018, expect to pay more money. There are still people who want a 2018 and are going to order them and pay all the money.

I walked away from an X5 40e because of the lease rates in July.
Bought a Porsche Macan instead and even got a nice discount on top of it. Hopefully BMW does something soon to change this as I'm sure I'm not the only one jumping ship. |

The i division is a complete disaster for BMW.
The F30 has been the worst 3-series of all time and the competition has caught up and even surpassed it. When the E90 was 6 yrs old it was still the best in class without a doubt. The F30, on the other hand, is a dead man walking after 6 yrs. Save for tech, BMW did not push the bar forward in any area for the F30. The E90 was 10x more fun to drive and had nicer interior materials and a very similar interior design. There is no reason to consider an F30. |

Just a comment on this. Corp fleet hasn't been discontinued, just reduced by quite a bit. http://www.bmwgroupfleet.com/ Both the purchase and lease discounts for the 3/4 series have been reduced by $1000. And I believe you no longer get the MF reduction when leasing as well.
