If you could buy any car under $200,000...what would it be?

For that money I could think of quite a few cars, but my all-time favourite car to own has been an original Shelby Cobra 427. So I would get one of those and yet it's chassis, brakes, etc modernised and enjoy that classis noise and body shape.

There is a black/black R8 with gloss black blades here in Dallas. No idea what they are asking. 1-866-839-2834. Boardwalk Porsche/Audi. Just call and ask how much and let us know. They have it in a single car glass showroom at the entrance to the dealership. There was a white one too but it is gone. 25 new R8's listed on Autotrader.com. From 122K-200K.

Here is one with black blades.

I like the looks of the Maserati Grand Turismo S. But given 200k, I would like to think I would purchase a cheaper car and invest the rest.

I don't think you can get an original 427 for 200k

I feel like if he needed to impress anyone, he could just take his WALD out. He's not into exotics, more of a luxury kind of guy, but I convinced him to check out a few exotics. Let's hope he develops a liking for them

you can get an F430 for < 200K with some patience (prices are lowering) and a gallardo should be easy. but why get a gallardo when you can have an F430 (or Challenge Stradale

If you mean the Gallardo, I saw 4 of them yesterday at NJ Motorsports Park, they were doing some parade laps while the fast BMW guys were eating lunch. One of the Gallardos was a God awful green color. It was quite humorous watching them go around the track at 40 mph as part of some exotics tour. There were two E92 M3s in that mix as well. One of the guys in one of the Corvettes on that tour managed to spin his C6 at like 50mph. What a tool.
