I like it, $210,000...not sure, I guess thats not far off a 911 Turbo S these days. If this suffers the 'normal' maserati catastrophic depreciation I could be interested

The Maserati MC20 starts at $210,000 in the US. Expect the super sports car to hit the market next year.

Nope. I thought I was. I just checked the perspective and I guess both sides of the wheel are pretty much proportionally correct. It just looked off to me. Someone did goof on the left side though where the alcantara is.

You can't see the gauges through your steering wheel?

The “RD” near Corsa and the number “0” above the Km/h sign show through the alcantara

I know, I was agreeing with you. It's sloppy work.

Maserati MC20 Priced From AU$438,000 Down Under, 2021 Allocation Already Sold Out

Quote:
The 2021 Maserati MC20 has just been announced for both the Australian and New Zealand markets.

Those in Australia looking to pick up the keys to a new MC20 will need to part ways with at least AU$438,000 (US$310,629), while those in New Zealand can purchase one from NZ$390,000 (US$257,361). While both prices are pretty steep, Maserati Australia and New Zealand says its allocation of 2021 models has already been sold out, without however specifying just how many units that is.

“The all-new MC20 marks Maserati’s launch into a new era,” chief operating officer of Maserati Australia and New Zealand, Glen Sealey, said in a statement. “Elegant and sporty, efficient and lightweight – it’s a stunning supercar and clear statement of intent. We’re delighted to welcome the MC20 to Australia.”

A price of AU$438,000 in Australia puts the MC20 right up there with some of the market’s leading mid-engined supercars. For example, the Lamborghini Huracan Evo starts at AU$459,441 (US$325,566) while the Ferrari F8 Tributo and McLaren 720S are available from AU$484,888 (US$343,598) and AU$489,000 (US$346,512) respectively.

Powering the Maserati MC20 is a bespoke twin-turbocharged, 3.0-liter V6 that has a dual injection system and an F1-inspired pre-chamber combustion chamber system with twin-spark plugs. All up, it delivers 621 hp and 538 lb-ft (730 Nm) of torque, meaning it has 9 hp less than the Huracan Evo but a significant torque advantage of 95 lb-ft (129 Nm).

Mated to the engine is an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission sending power to the rear wheels via a limited-slip differential. The MC20 can hit 62 mph (100 km/h) in less than 2.9 seconds and its top speed exceeds 205 mph (325 km/h).

It'll be the Italian supercar of choice for those with little man's disease.
I was physically unable to fit into a 4C. I was all set to buy one until I attempted to take one for a test drive. No matter how I tried to get into the car, it was impossible. I’m close to 6’5 and around 245 but it wasn’t even close (a good laugh was had by all but the salesman was pretty disappointed lol). Compare that to a car like a Z4M Roadster where my knees didn’t even touch the dash and it’s just a joke how small they made the interior of the 4C. Oh well it’s such a gorgeous little machine too.

Pretty cool but Maserati's efforts would be better put toward their bread-and-butter cars. The Levante and Ghibli need clean sheet redesigns and need to bring something different/innovative to the market. Their current crop of cars would have been really nice back in 2012.

Aside from the R8, I can't think of any halo cars in recent memory which changed a brand's reputation/fortune.

They have a new compact crossover based on Alfa's Giorgio platform coming next year. Stellantis apparently is giving all of their brands (even Chrysler) a chance at revival.
