it only a matter of time before everything crashes from candyland. how we glued together and gave out money due to covid and shuttered businesses. I for one will save as much as I can and once the economy collapses. invest then get rich.

This really frustrates me. There was all this talk about how travel was expected to boom this summer due to restrictions being lifted but if the cost of plane tickets sky rocket then that won't happen. We are supposed to be going to Greece at the end of Sept and I'm thinking about buying my tickets now.

As far as EV and the goal they want to head towards. We can barely get cars as it is. How does this help people now and for the next few years?

I read earlier that the 7% inflation rate we've seen over the past year is the highest since 1982. We've jumped out of the frying pan and into the fire. How anyone can think what's going on is a good thing is beyond me.

You all forget the worst part- the fed still hasn't really tapered asset purchases and there is 0 movement on the rate... they have literally put their head in the sand and are trying everything they can to destroy the lower and middle classes... its terrible... no one cares about inflation.

Although a rate increase is expected this month, I wouldn’t be surprised if the Fed waits because the steep oil/NG/gasoline increases are very de-stimulative. In other words, no need to put the brakes on the economy because oil is doing that already (along with all the general inflation).

Welp hold on to your britches! Banned Russian oil. Dunno how that all works but potus said it himself… price is going up up and away!

I picked a bad time to get rid of the Tesla! Although we don’t bring it up to NC anyways.

I still have my little GMC Sonoma, bone stock with manual. It does pretty good on mileage.

My wife wants me to strongly petition my brothers to get dad's Toyota Highlander. We already have the X3, I don't need another SUV.

I NEED a truck. The Sonoma will suffice, although I really want the Jeep-truck in Sarge Green with diesel.

housing materials costs, food, etc all require fuel to be transported. So yes, as fuel prices increase, you can expect those to increase as well.

Some of it like housing/cars/etc is also due to a decrease in supply, but to say the rising cost of fuel doesnt have an effect is naïve.

Crude oil prices are determined by global supply and demand.

Just paid a max cap rate of $ 3.69 gal for fuel oil. Last month it was $ 2.80 gal.

Hoping they don’t go force mesure and blow up the cap rate.

The govt needs to get domestic production on line super asap. Right now the middle and lower classes are being hurt too much. Business that run trucks are getting destroyed as well.

When I was out for a doctor visit this morning, I passed a cheap gas station (that I would never buy fuel at) and they were at $5.49/gallon for diesel. The TA truck stop across town is at $5.82/gallon for diesel right now according to their web site.....

My home state of NJ just stopped mask mandates, I was like whatttttt? Wasn’t that over a year ago? I mean even Disney stopped masks almost a year ago.

Yes gas is high, yes houses are through the roof, but back in 2008 I remember physically seeing the financial downturn all around me. I’m concerned that’s what’s coming again but I’m not a smart man
uhhh what? mask mandates in NJ have been over for a LOOONG time, what are you talking about?
