THIS! Exactly this. Why the f*** do I need to use my fresh towels to soak up water rather than using them for drying off?!?

You said condo. Are you living, or renting?
Rental curtains always, ALWAYS end up with holes in the wall, after the (now bent) rod has been mashed and re-located several times in the 8 months since the tenant moved in. I bolt that rod to the stud and it's STILL screwed up. It's NOT a stripper pole!!! |

If you go with glass, I recommend sealing it before you use the shower. (You can seal later too but glass needs to be perfectly clear or you will seal in water spots.). You can use RainX but I got this stuff, which it holds up really well and makes cleaning easy:
https://nanovationsusa.net/store/Sho...ers-p126126267 Combine using the sealant and using Method Daily Shower and you won’t even need to squeegee.

I hate shower curtains so much it's unreal. Makes the shower colder which means you turn the water hotter so you have to directly stand under it to stay warm, and it's a delicate balance of water temperature versus the stupid air blowing in. I'm a fan of fully closed glass showers with a vent at the top to control the amount of air. You can't beat a nice steam shower.

I promised my DW that I would provide her a 10-bay garage by our 10th wedding anniversary, complete with at least one lift. The 2008 housing bubble crash and now my ticker have put me behind schedule, but I absolutely intend to keep my promise even if I'm a few years late.
I've already posted some of the Garage Mahal ideas that I have in another thread, like starting with a commercial steel building barndominium kit on a concrete slab. I want to be able to drive a car anywhere in the house, including the ability to back into the kitchen to unload groceries. Roller toolboxes for kitchen storage (which we already have in our current house), and minimal interior walls. Everything commercial steel studs and fire rock, no wood whatsoever if I can get away with it. In other words, throw the conventional house construction book away and do things that make sense to me versus building a cookie-cutter for resale value. Anyway, I now have a rough floor plan for the bathroom/shower area that I think makes sense...and is an improvement over the usual designs.....

My showerhead has a bit of an angle to it and that's even with some adjustment and having a removable wand (don't forget to remove the water restrictor for more pressure), therefore, if I stand directly under it, the other person with me will get no water and be cold since its cold everywhere else. If I crank up the temperature a bit, I can't be under the water for more than a couple seconds because it's too hot, but it'll steam a bit so the temperature inside is a bit better. Also the water pressure in my shower sucks. Bathtub right next to it is fine, but the shower blows.

Nontheless, if you are knowing the negative facts about, you're be able to prevent yourself into your bathroom by constructing the shower and its negative downfall to the right side.
