ML320 BlueTEC. It starts at $48K, but the options will probably have its way with you.

Isn't Bluetec only by Mercedes?

Bluetec is technology that will be shared by Daimler, VW, and whatever's left of Chrysler:
http://www.worldcarfans.com/2061129....sel-initiative I think the MDX is the better choice if you don't get a diesel. Good looks and value. |

I don't think you'll be able to get an X6 or loaded X5 for 800 with no money down... but who knows, with all the carmageddon that's going on you might get a really good deal.
And new family member! Congrats! (but would you really want him/her in a M5?) I'd go for the MDX. Great tech and nav, safe, comfortable, drives well, good economy... ML seems a little old/ripoff.

From my experiences, it really seems like the MDX is the most liked non-German car on e90post that isn't an exotic. It's downright uncanny

don't get an SUV...they're not cool. If I were you and I really needed the space...i'd get the new a4 avant 2.0t. They have dual exhaust unlike the sedan, and a huuge sunroof along with those beautiful L.E.D.s. I love the details in that car. These cars get 22mpg in the city!! My Z4 is rated at 19mpg in the city with steptronic. Your 335i I think is at 17mpg in the city.

with a lease euro delivery makes sense because residuals are off of MSRP and euro deliveries are usually around 5-10 off MSRP depending on program. Just there there is a significant lowering of payment compared to getting one at a dealer. The new Audi Q5 and Mercedes glk are both completely new models that are being released in the next 2 months. New releases usually stay close to msrp. You may want to look at euro delivery from Audi or Mercedes. With all that said, I would consider the E91 on euro delivery. The other option I would go with is picking up a CPO 5series wagon.

he's most likely being sarcastic.
i'd go for the x6. i'm obsessed with the styling. then again, i don't know how much you factor styling into the equation, or how much practicality you need.

I don't know what the current lease payments are like, but I think the Infiniti FX is a nice SUV. Of the SUV's I've driven, it is the least truck-like.
If you want a family sized car that can blow away almost any car on the road, go with the M5! TRUST ME on that one.

FYI- I checked autotrader last night and saw a 2008 MDX with tech/entertainment packages for $36k (only 4500 miles on it). Heck you could just buy it instead of leasing it if you want.

That's a consideration, true, but the E39 M5 is as handsome as ever and that's... what, a 10-year-old design now? Plus think about how the E46 and E36s still look good even though the E92s have been around. BMWs age really well.

I will once again have to get in my flame suit. I suggest the Touareg. If you would like to do any driving beyond the pavement this is one of the better SUVs for that purpose. It blends creature comforts with real off-road performance. I owned a FJ Curiser for about a year and I was really impressed with the group of nearly stock Touaregs that kept up with the truck based SVU such as the FJ's and the Wranglers. The Touareg is beautifully finished inside as well. The materials and finish are on par or even a step above my current E92. There will be a bunch of nay sayers that will tell you that because it's a VW it's not reliable--well this vehicle is nearing it's cycle end and VW has simplifed the vehicle and worked out most of the bugs that plagued the first couple years.

Toureg is a good option if you "need" something European.
