I'm not no steenking Boomer. I'm a War Baby, born during The War (don't ask which one!) but I've been into small fast cars since I was a kid.
As a former Advertising/marketing guy I'm interested in Demographics. I'm not the least surprised that there's a lot of interest among 20-30 Somethings in 1 Addicts, after all they are cool, exciting cars. I suspect most of the actual buyers will fall into the 35-55 age groups based on the projected price points. When I was ypounger I passed up many chances to buy a 2002 or 320i because I just couldn't quite swing it. If I had it to do over I'd buy a nice used...oops!..pre-owned one. Food for thought. |

Hello, all. I'm 24. I'm a 135i hopefull I figure I'll be snagging one in about 2 years. Never owned a BMW but I've always lusted after them. I'm a car / bike guy. I like speed and class and small cars. So for me the 135i is perfect.

I feel old now, but when I got a new '99 M3, I was only 25. You'll be glad you are when you have to pay your insurance. My insurance was 1/3 the cost when I turned that age.

I am 25. It seems like yesterday I was waiting for a new bike. Not the new 135i.....

Wow!! I'm surprised to see what a young crowd we have here..
I think we should start a thread/poll, to see what age demographic is actually buying this car? I'm 31 years old and I have been saving my $$ for a long time to buy this car. With options, I'm into it for about 47K of which I'm financing 27-28k. The more I think about it, I think I might be cutting it close as far as $$"S go. I wonder how the younger demographic is going to swing it!

Im 27 and Im financing with about 10-12K down, I have a great job and havent had a car payment for a while so I dont mind much getting into a payment again for a car like this. I always told myself my next car would be a BMW and I definitely I plan on keeping this car
