The G01 and G02 exist as the X3 and X4, but the G46 simply doesn’t exist.

For the 2025 model year, the x3 G01 platform is replaced by an updated G45 platform, so no 2025 MY G01. BMW will continue to produce the G02 X4 for model year 2025, but it will not be updated to a G46, which would be the code used if BMW updated tbe G02 platform, which it isn’t doing.

Also - the timing hasn't been officially confirmed, but MY2025 will probably be the last production run for the G02 X4. It seems very likely that there will be no 2026 X4.
