Lovely exterior, you can see it’s half way to the NK coming up.

The interior looks a bit odd, have to sit in one. I have to say (I’m a former owner so not hating) the current X3 interior isn’t amazing around that air vent air and the roller shutter I’ve thr cup holder was quite poor in my car

Will reserve judgment on the interior till I can see one.

Very disappointing to see on configurator that BMW UK have made what was standard equipment on the old (read current) iX3 now optional; having made such a fuss about safety features in the pre-release videos I can’t believe driving assistant plus is now optional…

IMHO, redesigned Macan is a tad too feminine in design than previous gen which was quite neutral. I will reserve judgment when it’s available to be seen in metal.

Totally.

This feels competitive with the Discovery.

I think the Velar & Macan are more elegantly designed than this new X3, unfortunately.

Big letdown that tartufo is not an interior leather color option. The amber is far too light.

The current X3M generation in the US can be ordered with Sakhir Orange interior.

UK configurator doesn't show any shade of red / orange interior. If this interior will not be available in the US, that will cause a few raised eyebrows.

I can’t figure out if the panoramic sunroof is a standard feature or not on the U.K. configurator. I don’t see it as an option. But it is also not listed as a standard feature, either.

I wonder if BMW USA will make it a standard feature or an option.

It's there, but it's a bit hard to find. You need to go to "Add more extras", then "Exterior Equipment", and finally "Panoramic Glass Sunroof". It's not standard, and isn't part of any package (at least in the UK).

Thanks MidnightLight. I hope it’s an option in the USA, but generally it’s a standard feature in the USA. I prefer the extra headroom and clearance without it.

Even on the current car you don’t need to touch the raised things to open. You just grab the handle. Touching the raised things with your thumb is to lock it.

Dont like those handles because they slip out of my hand. Also the steering wheel buttons on the right hand side. From my experience when had X1 (great car otherwise) for a week.

Oh, that car for that price - totally NO. Will keep my X1 U11 and that's it or better consider X5. I made pretty similar configurations and the price difference was around 10-15k euro.
