Amber “heard” about it and she likes it.

I like the design of the seats. I am not a great fan of this color, though. Looking at the photos and videos, I hope that light strip around the middle cup holder can be switched off, as it seems like a huge distraction at night. I can't imagine what it would feel like sitting on the passenger side, though, like looking at a wall. They could at least put a screen there like the Macan for the passenger to watch Netflix and such. The integration of the screen into the interior of BMW is just so lazy and it puts me off. Even with this two-tone interior, everything looks so flat and boring. BMW is a great brand, my favorite brand, but more and more I find myself looking for an alternative now. The X5 is due to change, and other than the LCI, nothing catches the eye. I'm glad we got the G01 at least before this new model came out.

This, X1 and and new 5 series all have similar language, which derive from IX a bit.
Its OK. I dont hate it. The interior color is a bit too mustardy. Id like smth in blue or beige instead. Also I think Burgundy is due a comeback for car interiors...

The interior of the new X3 depicts a battle of the necessary with the unnecessary. While joining the race to the bottom.
While cost cutting is a necessary response to keeping prices within what the target customer can pay, it doesn’t have to be so obvious. There are many design techniques to keep the interior engaging. Then let’s combine this blandness with several unnecessary fascinations, starting with removing physical controls. Filling the blank space with elongated East-West horizontal digital displays. It’s a race to the bottom where Tesla Model 3 resides. In design language terms, it’s also an equivalent of trying to turn every intelligent creature into an amoeba. |

Top of door panel
B pillar cover And the plastic on both sides of center console Look like they all cost about $10 (including tax) That looks like the cheap plastic trim on Corollas/civics that scratches super easy I'd rather they have a lesser expensive kind of leather (Dakota) and spend more money on the trim. Premium doesn't just mean that it's expensive It means every surface I see or touch feels upmarket Premium isn't just sticking a BMW or M badge on it, and some $1 leds and calling it a day The front bumper looks like an inbred child of first cousins

This kind of BMW style makes me glad I’m going from the current iX3 to the Macan.
I’m hoping the iX5 or iX7 will be normal and I may come back to BMW, otherwise goodbye. |

I do like the seats and the interior color combination.
I detest the slanted lines kidney grilles and the similar center console detail. Also the interior ambient lights and dashboard layout, are way too ugly. It does like what I'd expect from a Chinese brand. Way to go BMW, show the Chinese that you can also copy their designs!!! That'll show them M.F.'s. |

Exterior looks bloated with few strange broken sharp lines. The lights are so strange.
Interior looks like economy brand with cheap flare. Light bars look toyish. Seems like the days of elegant but aggressive styling and athletic profile, with premium cabin is gone for bmw. Not my cup of tea for sure. |

I luv how they use the music and cut shots in that video as if it will magically make G45 more attractive. Sorry, but a pig in lipstick is still a pig.

Good choice, heard rave reviews about the Macan EV! And you might not come back to the BMW brand after that. Hope BMW is taking note. Or perhaps they are gaining other new customers so they don't care. Sales numbers for these new models will tell.

I love that Amber color. The two tone with the grey isn't done well, and I would greatly prefer it just as a true stand alone color. Amber with traditional full or even Extended leather would be such a nice finish. Maybe I need to see it in person, but I really don't like the overall push to 2 tones - the new M5 has the clown car bright red + black that just looks like an entry level early 2000's Camaro or Mustang or something.

At least do that on the front doors and the "jewelry box' lighting, these spots are truly the gaudiest spots in the interior. |

Yes to all of that plus you can get actual M-Sport seats in both the X1 and X2. The X3 is probably their most important SUV and this launch has been awful. No M-Seats, no opening sunroof and ambient lighting does not extend to the rear seating area. Very cheap and tacky interior. It's a slap-in-the-face to BMW loyalists.
