Thanks ModernAngel! That sequence of steps does seem a bit unintuitive. Glad you shared this video. I'll keep this in mind when my car arrives in a couple weeks.

Obviously. With the whole G45 release, not only with the iDrive9.

I think Idrive9 has a lot of problems..
Does someone have same problems?
At the door and window settings, there is an option like "Turn off media when door open" like that.

I really like this option which turn song, all medias off when I open the door after I arrived destination. but it's getting back to default setting which is turn off that option every restart the car...

so if I restart, arrives destination and open door, song keeps playing..

Is that only my problem? or has anyone struggling this too??

ModernAngel is there a way to have RPM in this wide screen option - meaning second layout? Or You do have to go to the top one layout to have RPM?
Thanks

Doesn't seem like it's possible. It's definitely irritating that BMW's software design has so many arbitrary limitations on seemingly independent settings.

I don’t think RPM can be shown in that layout.
On another note, why would anyone with an ICE want “Power %” instead of RPM? I just don’t get it.

You can control the lights by using physical buttons on the turn signal lever.

Those look like the options shown on the touch screen after pressing stalk button.

How does the stalk select each option without using the touch screen ? Is it a toggle or something else’s that doesn’t require any touchscreen interaction ?

How does the OS/ID 9 react? I often see small delays in videos.

It's OK. Not super laggy, but also not fast. As someone who works in software, I definitely think the UI latency can be improved. But it's acceptable. I don't find it frustrating at all in day-to-day usage.

I noticed that on Sirius XM, I can’t add favorite artists or song and it won’t let me rewind songs to the beginning anymore. Anyone else having this issue?

id 9 - what happened to home zone and comfort access?

id 8.5 used to have a "Comfort Access" function in the Doors/Windows section, where you could define a home zone and then used that geofence to automatically deactivate locking the car when walking away. I do not find this anymore in ID 9. Does it still exist and how can I access it? It's pretty annoying when I walk around in my own garage with phone or keys in the pockets and the car unlocks/locks all the time.
