I agree, people under 16 should not be driving a BMW. Here in CA you need to be 16 to get a driver's license.

i dont think it really matters what age you are... as long as you think you deserve it... and if you think you do and you really dont... well whatever... somebody worked for it... and whoever gave it to you just hoped you'd appreciate it for all its worth.

I understood half of that at most...til I reread your post...and now I realize...that my feelings inside....are what matter about my car all along...unless I'm wrong.

hahaha.. 18-25 got the most votes. I bet that is way off of actual demographics for the E90.

this poll has gotta be way off, older people generally dont use the internet as much as younger people, and older people generally dont mod their cars as much as the younger owners. Not that everyone is here to mod their cars, but that is one the of the main reasons i visit this site

Mainly I was having fun with the form of your prose. ...18 isn't too young for a BMW, just too young to have earned it. Still, you have a point...your parents earned it, and so it didn't fall out of a tree. If I were 18 and my parents said they'd give me a BMW for cutting the grass and working at TGI Friday's, well, heck, I wouldn't say no. You might consider that your demographic (knowing students around your age having e90s) is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay off the norm.

Well, you have a right to enjoy your car, just don't get too upset about the greybeards who will tell you that you don't know the value of money. They will criticize you left and right, but if you were an attractive girl who was 18 with an e90 on this forum, they'd all be hitting on you and agreeing with everything you said.

I personally bought my car while I still had (and have) hair. I always thought it pathetic that all the cool convertibles around seemed to be driven by bald guys, with their trophy wives in the passenger seat.

I feel like an old man... I can't believe over 50% of the owners are under 30. I'll make myself feel better and say that demographics on the internet polls skew younger cuz old men don't know how to use the internet

Clue: Most E90 drivers don't even know about this forum. Mostly I see housewives driving them. That will change with the E92 no doubt. I'd like to know the real demographic sales info from BMW NA.

23 as well. I worked pretty darn hard for this car. Although in a way I wish I may have waited a bit longer so I could have gotten more options. But I'm still young and there's always the next car, right?
