simple fact , bmw nor merc nor audi have a production car that can match a zr1 time on the ring

nor a sedan in the price range that can match a cts v

Here we go with the displacement talk..... Who cares if it is 200 billion liters if it makes 2000 HP?

Because most car companies can make a 8.4 liter 640 hp car. It's a lot easier to make that kind of hp when you have 8.4 cubic liters of space to use, but once you cut that down to 5 cubic liters of space, then it becomes extremely difficult to hold that much compression and not blow shit up. You think BMW, Audi, or Merc can't make a car that will match or beat the ZR1? There is no point in that now since the economy is so fucked world wide.

500-600hp+reliable is a different story. I can assure you will pay twice as much to maintain/repair that V10 in the M5 as you would an LS7

You DO NOT mess with The General performance/value wise. They will mop the floor with you.

From what I've read the Z06 doesn't have to pay gas guzzler tax... yet it can beat many supercars two or three times its price.

Yeah I heard about it being delayed... I guess it's a good thing for GM not to stress it out and focus on some moneymaking cars instead!

Didnt hear about it not being offered though, thats kinda sad actually!
