i am driving currently a 2004 G35 coupe 6 Speed. its a powerful car. its got torque thats for sure and the exhaust note is sexy. it stops there. lets see:
1) bose system SUCKS -had it replaced
2) Axles clicking-replaced
3) Tranny grinding- replaced
4) Tranny faulty again- replaced with new clutch this time
5) Axles clicking AGAIN- need to get fixed
6) Tranny took a dump AGAIN= Lemon Law

Everytime the tranny goes it is 5th gear. they tried to blame it on "abuse" but they don't seem to understand that in order to abuse 5th gear I would have to be driving 120 mph consistently. in LA thats not possible, plpus im not stupid. they also tried blaming it on my clutch and that I didn't know how to drive a stick. No matter HOW BAD of a driver you are 15k cannot blow a clutch.
besides for the problems the service dept's blow too....
don't know about the 06's but thats how 04's were. for both G35's and 350z's. i love them but if you get a bad one...your screwed

whoa dang man thanks for all that info!

both g35 and 350z are like that eh...my buddy has an 03 350z with 32k miles on it, so far he has no problems..but yeah now i think if i get a bad one, i'm screwed....maybe i should save for the 335i or the new m3, oh pricey pricey

Depends on what you are looking for. Check the Honolulu Advertiser on Sunday for job openings. Nurses are a hot item right now. Yeah those girls are all over the island! I see them at bus stops, gas stations and especially Wal-Mart or the Mall.

hawaii is so tempting, if everything goes well it'll be my next destination next year! or if i ever make it big, i'll definitely move to hawaii and grow old there

no prob dude. i just can't wait to get out of this car. hopefully everything goes through smoothly. just a pain in the ass for me. i drive my mom's 530i and I just cant see myself in anything other than a bimmer now...

i was at the dealer the other day test driving the 330. behold the beautiful M6 just sitting outside covered by velvet ropes. my dad who was with me just stares in awe no joke. he was about to whip out the check book until he saw the 30k markup. our CA said in about 6 months that markup would be gone. thats some pretty good news for me I must admit!!!!

Aapriadi: i saw the Top Gear review of 350z last night. Man he ripped on it really badly. Do a search on YouTube.com for it. He reccomends the RX-8 over that.

That sucks because i really thought it was a nice looking car.

he does rip on the 350z. but dont get me wrong.ive had both cars and they are great. I'd get the 350z over the G35 coupe. reason being is that the 350z is a sports car and you shouldnt expect an amazing interior like a ferrari especially for the price your paying. whereas for the G35 your paying a decent penny and you get some crappy interior.my 350z had ZERO problems for the 2 years I had it. i loved it much more than the G35. also much faster and better handling car too.

I've been to the exact same spots twice. Hawaii is such a beautiful place. Im visiting it again next summer.

holy crap who's reviewing it? that clarkson guy? he's a dumb ass imo, its obvious that 350z > rx-8
the rotary engine isnt perfect and the torque and hp number, they seem false to me...i test drove the rx-8 shinka and was disappointed! at that time it almost costs as much as a new 325, plus the shinka is different from any other coz of the paint (amazing color i love it) and beige leather and a cheap lookin sticker in the door pillar..sayin shinka...
then i went on to ask for a test drive, the power just wasnt as good as the 350z..
as far as interiors are mentioned, i dont really care...
i'll try to watch it on youtube later on but thanks for the info tl boy
