Check fatwallet.com. Search for las vegas and a buttload of deals and informative threads will be in abundance. Try the Front Counter $20 trick. I hear it works like a charm in LV.

Hard Rock +1
Most laid back atmosphere of all the big casinos. Younger crowd, younger dealers, music playing, drinks flowing, ladies everywhere. You get the idea ![]() Married/older then go to Wynn, Bellagio, Venetian, take your pick. What they lack in women they make up for in opulence. LOL. ![]() |

You go to Vegas primarily for a reason - or at least you should.
If you go to gamble, then you certainly need to scout the best places to gamble. Not all venues are made equal - for example, Bellagio has the best hold 'em tournaments off of the strip. If you are into rake games, Excalibur and Luxor offers a variety, among other casinos. Additionally, not all gambling environments are the same - many are much more upscale, such as Bellagio and while others praise Hard Rock - the environment there is quite poor with the exception of the abundance of "horny young ladies with questionable looks". Why even go to the Hard Rock for ladies, anyways? Prostitution is legal in many counties of NV and you can even find brothels around. If you go primarily for shows and attractions, some of the best shows are held off of the strip, including Bellagio's O, a Cirque du Soleil production and if you have never watched O before, I highly suggest you do it regardless of ticket prices ranging from $150-$400 a seat. It is the best show, hands down, and the best money I have ever squandered at Vegas. MGM is known for holding big fights and then there's the famous cabaret that guys usually like to watch. If you go for food/comfort, you should check those mentioned by others here including Mandalay Bay - they have some of the best pools/outdoors offerings and many resorts have myriads of restaurants starring famous chefs. Also a good idea to land a resort on the strip unless you intend to drive around while in Vegas (something that I look down upon). You actually get around faster by simply walking - not many know about that. Additionally, many of the casinos are actually linked up to each other so you really never have to step outside to go from one resort to another. If you go for shopping, Caesar's Palace shopping forums would be very hard to beat, especially if you have a significant other or wife coming along. They can literally spend days there. Lastly, if you are indeed a bachelor and just going for fun, the fun is amplified 10X if you go along with friends. If you want to snag a lady back to your room, just make sure you don't split a room with your buddies.

a couple friends stayed at wynn last time. said it's very nice, flat screen tv's in the room and bathroom. they also have a 18+ pool there. next time, think i might try to stay at mandalay bay just for the pool.
