One other thing is the Cayenne GTS, if I can find a nice leftover 09 at the end of the year it couldn't hurt wheeling and dealing for one of those, anyone have some experience? Thanks for the insight everyone, I may go drive a few of these this weekend once I officially rid myself of the Audi, we will see how that pans out.

skip the m3. You already have an E90. Go for the C63

Hey OP, congrats on getting the "lemon law" into act. I know it wasted alot of time and money but in the end you got your total car value right??
Anyway, I would have recommended a S4 or a S5 with the new Supercharged V6. But I dont think you will be going to Audi anytime soon And like many, I would recommend a C63 AMG because that car is just awesome And about the Cayenne GTS, I dont think you should go with another car that has a dodgy history. According to JD ratings, it has improved alot but you never know Anyway, good luck with your next car

Don't go the Cayenne. We have a Cayenne Turbo. While it's nice, it gets terrible gas mileage and a car would be much more fun that it. I know the GTS is different, but I would not purchase another Cayenne. My vote goes for the C-63, it just seems so mean.

Oh, and tires wear's a bitch for the C63. Don't expect the rears to last anymore than 10k.

No C63 amg. You cant get a stick. I would go M3 or 335i Msort. The most important thing is to get a 6 speed manual as you will love it. DCT M3 is nice but I still like the 6 speed. In the M5/M6 its a touch choice between SMG and stick IMO.
How about the new Z4 sdrive 35i. I sell BMW as you know and i am so impressed by how the car looks and drives. You should check it out.

i don't know bmw seems to plain compare to his old S5 i think he would want something that is exciting right out of the factory, with the 335 you would have to mod it to make it exciting as compare to the C63 which is a beast right out of the factory just my .02 though.

I saw a bunch of M3s today and while I love the look, the interior has me bored its very similar to my 330 although I hear the materials are much better, I will have to go have a look anyway! So the NEW updated list. M3 335 MSport C63 S4 - Engine sounds like a Porsche S5(Another its just to nice to keep off the list) I think I need to get some photos together and talk it out with you boys, not many people can take my car chat!

If it were my money, I'd be buying a lightly used M3.

I did and I can honestly say that after also owning an S5 it is in a different league. I don't know when the S5 will gain the engine, diff and DSG but if it's as good as the S4 and had to been available then I might not have shifted to the M3 good as it is. I felt that with normal driving and road limations the S4 got remarkably close to matching the M3's cornering speeds in the dry and would have destroyed in the wet. I'm definitely looking forward to driving the RS5 this winter to see if it will be replacing the M3 next. |

Don't know about you guys but if all goes well, my current plan is to be in another 335i (I have a 2010 E92 335i on "pre-order") for 3 years and then scoop up a low-mileage (and NOT beat on) 2010 or 2011 Nissan GT-R Premium (hopefully for ~ $60k)!!!!!!!!
I could care less if I go back to driving a "Nissan." It's a GT-R supercar for goodness sake that blows just about everything else away. I love my Bimmer, but the badge doesn't matter to me at this point. My brother just bought a brand new 2010 GT-R Premium...sik, sik, sik car!!!!!!!
