Best car for around $24,000?

370z..ugly but the best driving car, and you could buy it nearly new.

Why not a Cobalt SS turbo? Yeah, the interior is outright horrible for its class( hurry up Cruze), but for a performance econobox, it isn't that bad. It has the great turbo DI 2.0 4 banger, no lift shift, and a great suspension that makes it handles pretty well too. It had the record for the fastest FWD car around the 'Ring until the Renault MéganeRS R26.R took it( on slicks though).

Where do you guys look when buying a used car? I looked on ebay and autotrader but their prices seem to be going against what you guys are saying..

Well i researched a bit today on the 2010 MS3. But the saying "If looks could kill" , Its almost so hideous that it may kill me if i had to see it in real life. So ive marked that out. Ive driven a WRX sti before and i couldnt deal with the terrible build quality of the car. I think i may have caused a misconception here that i cant afford just about anything lol, well thats my fault . I can really afford up to $24,000 or $400-450 a month. I just scrwed myself in the way that i put down about $3500.00 on my 3 series, and that is the big mistake i made. So in my heart i still want the Z06 the most, but if it ends up being above my price range i may look at s2000's.

it was mentioned here before but how about the new 2010 VW GTI? They are right at the 24k number and come well equipped with the base model... insurance should also be a good bit less than the vette.

Get a cheaper car and save some money. But if you want to spend 24k, buy a e46 m3, clk55, or a s2000. Just make sure it's a rwd car.
