As a mac fan for the last 10 years, it's just not something I need - or really want.

At home office have 2 big daddies and have a mac book pro and iphone, so don't see where the ipad would fit in for ME.

If I want to be able to work/video conference/type long emails on the go, I'll use laptop - for on the go email and some web browsing - iphone.

well yeah, it's a much better buy than the kindle. BUT , i wouldn't get a kindle either. you can buy intangible books , who needs that? you can't lend it to your buddies or resell it.

Meh, I'm an apple whore, but the iPad doesn't appeal to me, yet the Kindle DX does. I travel a lot, and the iPhone covers my basic internet needs, along with a 17" macbook, but I'd rather read on e-ink screens than on a blown up iPhone/Touch screen. Not to mention the embedded, no cost 3g downloads on the Kindle just make more sense for content downloads. Neither one is perfect, but I'm more likely to buy a Kindle than an iPad 1.0. Put an e-ink screen on the back of the next one, and a camera or two and I'd have an easier time considering one. Oh, and no Flash is getting old.

this and the shuffle are a fail. itouch kinda sucks too, but its only good if you dont have an iphone

the iTouch definitely beats the iPod nano's. But if you have an iPhone, you basically have it all.

Yeah. Thanks to the iPad Pre-Orders today, AAPL is up where Apple's market cap has surpassed Wal-Mart's.

Chalk me up with waiting to see how useful the iPad can be.

Shuffle is perfect for the gym. It's size and the clip make it much better than a nano or iPod when hauling it around during a workout or run.
