Not a big deal. Now, had the SUV parked inches away from the Z3 (or any car), then it would have been a big deal. Always respect the buffer zone between vehicles!

^^ Is that recording at all times while your car is on? Where is the memory stored? Camera looks super small, interesting to me.

I'd think that the driver of that SUV cares about their car and knows that that side of the SUV will not get dinged from the Z3.
Where i work, there is a 135i that always parks away from everyone else. I have thought about parking next to him because then im guaranteed no dent on that side, but is he going to think that its why i parked there, no way..so i haven't. Since i know why he parked there, i thinks its nicer to just leave his car there with no one beside it.

That's how I feel. I always park far away and if I see another nice car doing the same I will always leave at least one space between us. I feel that is the courteous thing to do because if you park right to the other guy he is not going to know your intentions and probably assume they were bad.

I like the idea suggested to carry around post it notes and leave a note on someones window if they park next to you. It may break their habit of doing it if they learn how your feel when they do it.

People can park where ever they want. Are you really that paranoid about dings? Its just an old Z4.... If I had a F-car i'd be more concerned. And that wasnt an all that open parking lot..

I hate when people do that...anyway, how much video will it hold when recording in HD?

Average recording times (using 32GB SD card):
1080p (30 fps): 4h 21m
960p (30 fps): 5h 26m
720p (60 fps): 4h 21
720p (30 fps): 8h 09m
WVGA (60 fps): 8h 09m

The battery only lasts 2.5 hours so that will run out before you fill up the card. I bought an extra one and just switch it out if I forget to charge it.

"oh god park right next to the z3" - who fuckin cares? I certainly don't. If someone parks next to my 335, I don't think twice about it. I'm only bothered when you get the assholes that park over the white lines extremely close to your car so you have to squeeze into your vehicle.

Since we're on the topic of parking, I hate every fuck who thinks their car is so precious that they have the right to take up more than one spot in a parking lot/garage/etc.

Looks like the SUV driver went ahead and parked as far away from the BMW as he could while still being in the spot next to him. In fact, it looks like he might even be on the line. So, while he did have the "audacity" to park next to the midget car, at least he also gave it some space.

Happens all the time to me. More so when im in my x5 which pisses me off as the spaces are not very wide, the x5 takes up pretty much the entire width and then you find another suv/truck parked right next to you with little space between the cars.
