Seinfeld was awesome but it's not exactly a show like Battlestar, The Wire, etc - shows that are several seasons long and are very deep story wise.
Seinfeld was always a fun way to spend 30 minutes and you never had to watch an episode before to understand it and enjoy it - mindless sitcom |

This, love Seinfeld, but it's just a non-thinking comedy, hilarious show but you can't have any expectations for it. |

I love Seinfeld and the old Curb, but did it piss anyone else off how blatantly it seemed LD started ripping off (or recycling to be nicer) his own material? It was never as good the second time around, and it really disappointed me as, from an artistic standpoint, he'd made and was still making so much from Seinfeld royalties, I didn't think he'd be back just for a paycheck, which is sort of what it felt like for me. I'm obviously inferring mindset here, which is next to impossible, but in media how the item in question is perceived is just as important, and it didn't really sit right for me (on average - there are still a few absolutely hilarious episodes)

LEAST KNOWN FUNNIEST SHOW EVER
The Trailer Park Boys - its from basically the canadian HBO. Think Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia (great show) meets Eastbound and Down with more trailer trash/weed and humor. I suggest yall take a look at it. |

Obviously it cant be considered "The Best of All Time", and isnt even in the same category as the shows mentioned above. But I think my favorite show has to be Rob & Big/Fantasy Factory. Rob is hilarious, and reruns never get old!

the shield is a must, only show that got better till the end. last season is AMAZIN.
24 - gets repeative, but its very good and enjoyable, couple of the seasons are really good but don't expect the wire quality. seinfeld curb how i met your mother is pretty funny, barney aka neil patrick is worth watching entourage sopranos prison break - first 2 seasons are untouchable, but than it goes downhill but highly recommended for the first 2 seasons alone. boston legal was good for awhile but if your looking for anything like the wire/lost/sopranos/etc.. not going to find it, flashfwd got canceled. theres a new show called the event supposed to be good but id wait until 2 seasons atleast. i would check out generation kill john adams hbo movie(AMAZING) the corner(pre-lude to the wire)

I'm lovin big bang theory right now. And I agree that Arrested Development is the most cleverly written show ever.

Firefly + Serenity (the movie conclusion of the series)
It's only one season sadly, but one helluva season at that. Make sure you watch them in the proper order |

And yes, Fox is retarded. They felt "Serenity" was not suitable as a premier. Really? A two-hour episode that clearly sets up the entire series? I read somewhere that they felt it was too confusing. Unfortunately those morons didn't realize it was targeted at an audience that can comprehend a lot more than the predictable commentary of three people assessing the vocal capacity of no-talent ass clowns. /rant |
