Wow.. the thread starter hasn't posted here since... hope he's not dead :
of course... the only cure for this is to completely forget that you were even with that person... that starts by a combination of heavy drinking and anonymous sex... then, continue on with your life.

I'm not sure what kind of pics you would like to go along with this thread... only ones I could think of would be the angry/depressing type.. something along the lines of suicide or assault/homicide... :-s

Well I broke it off 2 years ago - yes you heard me 2 years ago and have been trying to get it back ever since. She apparently still wears it too according to some eye witnesses that I know plus I saw her with it on one time as well. I had given up last summer in trying to get it back but ever since I heard she got married it's just opened up all these wounds again.
I should just show up in front of her husband and ask for it back.

I agree with bmviz....
just think of how much you saved on the divorce. Like most women, it goes to show how ruthless and consciense free they really are. If she was that willing to wear the ring you bought her for another guy...then she will have no remorse whatsoever taking him to the cleaners within 2-4 years from now. Don't pity the loss of the ring....pity the hell the poor guy will go through when she takes him for everything to include the air in his lungs! Chance and fate work for reasons, my good man! |

No problem thedean786.
I know EXACTLY what most women really are all about, and I just don't want to see someone go through undue heartache and pain over something you really have no control over whatsoever. Take a night out with some good friends and hit a good restaurant and a bar or danceclub afterwards, just for the fun. You can all make the pact you have on your signature... "Spartans...tonight we dine in hell!!":rocks: |

Just think of how much of an impact you must have had on her if she was still wearing the ring while with this new guy... that in itself should give you some self confidence... and you also own that new guy as well... sounds like she was pretty stupid to me...a ring is a ring... a lifetime of unhappiness and regret is much worse... you got off light, good luck to you in the future
