Seen this car at the Toronto international autoshow and it looked stunning! And yes they are borrowing the corvettes engine according to the person showcasing the car

They say they have orders for 6 cars already and more letters of intent.
I think the car is still a prototype with parts from other manufacturers, but the production cars will have more in-house parts. It is more like the Koenigsegg company concept where they get the engine from Ford.

Each car costs $250,000 to make yet they are trying to sell it for double that? I dunno about this one, I'm not saying I hate it, but its not off to a good start in my book. If I had the money, I would probably walk right past it and onto something else.

+1 I would take the $500,000 and buy myself a Ferrari 458 and 911 GT2 RS and call it a day. Assuming both don't cost more than 250K.

Actually only pre-orders are $495,000, once the car is in production the price goes to $795,000 from what I just read. That is a lot of coin for an unknown!

Good luck with that. In Canada, Ferrari 458 are going for upwards of $325,000. Even in the US a decently equipped and optioned out mass produced 458 costs $280,000 - $290,000 or so.

Middle seating position would be a deal breaker for me, even if I had the money to buy a car like this. Getting in and out would be too big a hassle. Also, drive-thrus would be a nightmare and parking garages where you have to swipe a card or grab a ticket would be ridiculous.

I'm surprised people think this looks good. It's average at best; just your typical generic kit car looks.
