OP, i really hope everything goes well with your dog. I love mine more than anything/anyone outside of my immediate family members and can kinda say I know how you feel (my dog was mauled by the neighbor's and she barely escaped permanent damage).

well if its just you then were in the same boat. I had a labradoodle and he started having some issues. I did not want to live with him anymore as these issues were a threat to people and himself. The humane thing is to stop the suffering. A dog cannot be a dog if it cannot fetch, run, etc.. I moved on and now have a goldendoodle! puppy of course

you will be depressed for about a week but then it gets better.

see what happens if she gets better then obviously you wont do anything. However if things take a turn for the worse, my case, its the moral and mature thing to do

what he said but dont drag it out like i did. I made mine suffer longer than he should have and in someways I feel guilty for not letting him go sooner.

yikes!

I see a dog in a wheelchair at the dogpark occasionally and he appears happy. He runs with only his front legs (FWD) and he fetches. If any of our dogs got into this situation I couldn't do an 8k operation but I know that they would rather live with the wheel chair before being put down.

I wish your dog the best. But if she doesn't get better you can get her one of those doggie wheelchairs so this way she can still be mobile using her from legs.

Sorry to hear about your pup's struggles.

I can't even fathom having to deal with our pup like that. Here's hope for a positive outcome for yours.
