Having owned both, I agree that the G35 is a hell of a car. But the BMW is the whole package. The worst thing about my G35 was the how often I had to take it in for service and how much loot the dealership would hit me up for each time. Also the customer service for Infiniti SUCKED. I can yap on and on about why I'm leaving Infiniti but those two reasons are the main ones.

I've never liked the look of Infinitis--this new G is no different.

I think Infiniti knows where they stand. The media likes to hype up the fact that an Asian car may slightly infringe on 3-Series sales, but in the end it doesn't mean much. I bought a G35 when they came out in 2003, and I still love the hell out of that car, in some ways I like its wider, more aggressive stance compared to the 335i. But this new G37 (poor choice of name), just has an awkward stance and uncomfortable lines. The second pic posted on this thread looked so bad I thought it was just a lousy photoshop job. They ruined the sleek, seductive lines of the G35, and turned the G37 into a mini M35. Bummer
However, when it comes down to the driving experience...well you all know what I'm going to say next. The G coupe was exhilarating, but the 335i coupe is nothing short of just plain stunning. I have a feeling this new coupe will start off strong and the VQ engine will just lost its oomph like it did in my old coupe. So, those who are loyal to Infiniti and want a somewhat comparable driving experience at a lesser price can go with a G37, while those who are willing to pay that extra amount for that extra driving pleasure should do so.:rocks:

Wow. I don't think anything you just said has any relevance to anything we're talking about. It also just makes you look insecure, ranting like a little girl with poor grammar and the sentence structure of a six year old. I would take a G37 any day, but just because some people on here wouldn't doesn't mean that they're insecure or brain washed. You just sound like a fool, try talking less and you won't look so stupid. And, oh ya, don't try to pull that bullsh*t generalization act that every European punk tries to pull off when he disagrees with an American. Keep trying to pull out pathetic things to say, it just shows how ignorant you are, champ.

I don't think they've produced a better car by any means.
I love Infinitis, hell I own a G35. Yet, I for one can tell you now that the N/A VQ engine is not superior to that of the TT in the N54. I can also guarantee that the steering and suspension will not be on par with that of BMW's standards. Sure, it WILL be an awesome car, but to say it is better than any 3 is reaching. And why did they ruin the sexy lines of the G35!? Ugh..

trust me, you won't look back. Not only do you have a beautiful twin-turbo engine on the way, your car looks head and shoulders better than the G37.

well...if you bring it up here everyones going to say "fuck infiniti its all about bmw..blablbalb" of course...cause the majority is biased. but can you blame them if they think that the g37 is a good car? have you guys even drove the g37? i really dont think so... the 3 series coupe and sedans don't really have show stopping looks as well so i dont really know why you guys think you have such good looking cars. it may not be as bad looking as the g37, but the styling is definitely not comparable to the e46.. i personally think that this is a toss up. i still dont understand why bmw made a twin turbo engine if they didn't stress on development. there are a lot of problems with the 335 engine and it even went in limp mode during c&d's testing..thats embarassing better yet, pathetic..

I was too really dissapointed when I saw the G37 compared to what they been shown on pics of the prototype. I like the looks of the G35 better and it had brembo brakes as well. Mine never gave me any problems and it was taken to the dealership once just to check on a recall.

I've never even read an article on the newer G35 (G37, or whatever its called), but my bro owns a 350z and I can say that nissan/inifiniti are very good at giving you good engine performance per $$, but overall the quality cannot be compared to BMW IMO. Its impressive to see a 3.7L rev that high, but I wonder if its making any power up there.
