You can get them for around the same price as a Zegna and it will be 10000% better than an off the rack
What's wrong with using a custom made suit every day? I've worn custom made suits from different tailors pretty much every day over the past decade and have never had issues with durability.

Oh, and to the OP, definitely look to getting your shirts custom made as well.

If you have to go off-the-rack, then fit is the foremost criteria. For me, a lot of Hugo Boss stuff fits me well, but your experience may vary depending on your body type.

This ^^^!!!

I have a bit of a Robert Graham addiction so that's my typical direction for casual shirts, but dress shirts - custom all the way.. 70 each and they fit perfectly it's a heck of a bargain.

Apparently I need to go to Texas to get shirts made for a reasonable price because I'm looking at $150-$325 each up here.

Is this what your shirts look like?

absolutely nothing is wrong with wearing it every day
but OP seems to be looking to save money, so I figured he wouldn't be down to throw 500-1,000$ each on 10-15 customs because let's be honest, you're not gonna wear the same 7 suits, you need to keep rotating.

I picked up that Hugo Boss suit from Bloomingdale's today. I will get a custom suit when I'm done with grad school in a few years. I called a pretty well known store today and their custom suits start at about $1200+. hehe

My tailor says "they aren't charging you for the suit, they are charging you their rent"

I'm leaving to go overseas in a couple days for vacation/cousin's wedding. I really didn't feel like packing and hauling my really nice suits, so I went to Macy's and picked up a 3 piece Kenneth Cole Reaction suit. It fits nicely and is definitely a good everyday suit but my Joseph Abboud suit is still my favorite.

I'm gonna look around to see if there's something else that will fit me. I can always return this one if anything.
