He's also given his location away on the forums before, so now we know what he drives and his location...

Does a Range Rover or Porsche Cayenne or X5 35 count?

Damn...I'm the odd man. The Raptor is a cool truck. I don't know why though I just can't stand the Ford truck styling.

I just want a Dodge sport with that Hemi. I owned two of them before. The new interiors are so much improved and they did away with leaf springs...

I had a Dodge Cummins 4X4 one ton dually for 12 years and sold it last year to purchase a 2011 Mini. I quit pulling a 36' fifth wheel and going to Home Depot for building supplies, so couldn't justify owning one anymore. Not to mention having gotten tired of prying Pruises out of the space between the duals.

If I were to get a play truck, a 2004-2006 Viper Dodge RAM would be on the short list. Something about a 505 hp Viper V-10 in a pickup truck amuses me.

Believe me...I have ALWAYS wanted an SRT10 Ram. By far my favorite truck ever. And I have come real close a few times to getting one. Like sitting there about to sign.

But...I don't usually concern myself with gas mileage....but there is a line...and there's no way I could deal with that truck with the prices now.

Yeah, it took them a long time to finally catch up. The new interiors are light years better than before. The others have been better for a while and may be still better. But at least Dodge finally improved it so much.

I just like the exterior better than all the others.

I had a modified FJ Cruiser before my 3 series. Unfortunately the truck was stolen from the dealership while it was being serviced. I missed my truck so much. For two years I looked for a replacement. Finally found a good replacement last month. I ended up buying a 1970 FJ40. It's an amazing machine. It's performance off-pavement is as competent as the BMW's on pavement.

Who here drives a truck that actually uses it? I cringe at the thought of people buying trucks for the novelty factor. I see it every day where I work.

Here's my other baby. It's for hauling stuff for work and winter driving. It's also the vehicle I'm planning to keep for looong after I get rid of the m3 and into another sport car.

Mine doesn't haul daily but at least 2-3 days a week the bed gets used as intended. With the Raptor we have the added benefit to "use as intended" of an offroad play toy.

I cringe at people who say this. Why does it matter? If someone wants to buy a truck and never once put something in the bed, so what? Why should that matter to anyone?

You seriously should find better things to cringe at than that.

Southern mentality, it's cool to have a truck as a second car especially when u have a home and need one or use one for work but the people that drive them to work day in and day out just to waste gas and have them sit in front of the office I will never understand.

That is true.

I was going to type out a logical response but then I saw you were from Texas. No sense in wasting my time. This is why I hate America.

Roof racks? Rent a truck for the 4-5 times a year you might need to go to Home Depot and save yourself an extra car payment and gas. And tell your lazy friends to do the same.

Unbelievaible. People like you really are the problem with our country and what scares me when I think about the future of this GREAT country that the majority of us love.

The ignorance is just....I don't know how to describe it. The stereotype that comes from people is just ignorance into an unknown realm.

Damn this thread. I've started to look into SRT-10 Ram's now because of it. A crew cab with auto is between $20-25k. Plus with me getting reimbursed for mileage I guess I could look past the fuel economy...
