The best non paying job I ever had was working as volunteer actor in a Haunted house as teenager. Almost pissed myself a few times laughing so hard after scaring the carp out of girls as they walked through. Depending on the station you were at you could cops some feels too. We had a wall of hands, so as you walked through hands would reach out and grab people.

My friend whole worked with me, also most got his ass beat when he grabbed a girl and she was with her BF and the BF went nuts-o on the friend.

This place isn't as scary as these pictures make it seem. I went there with my girlfriend a little more than a year ago. This "maze" is pitch black, all you do is follow a red dot(and pray you don't run into walls). In this spot, they trap you by not opening the door to the next room, once the room opens, you proceed and a really loud noise will come from beside you. This is where they catch you in your embarrassing moment. Fortunately, for me and my girlfriend we had a more than un-amused expression, so we never made it on their site.

You honestly can't see a thing in there. It's PITCH BLACK. Besides, when a loud noise strucks you from the side, you naturally look at it right? It's not a loud boom, it's more like a loud scream, if I remember correctly. There's no way you can see anything in there. They do tug your foot and do random "scary" things to try and scare you, but 80% of their scare tactic is unexpected loud sounds.

It's pitch black because they're all holding on to each other to find their way and their pupils are all super dilated. I had a feeling it was not a specific image or object as they're all looking right but not at the same spot.

I figured it was something like that, if you watch the night vision video of the people you can see they all walking together in what appears to be a dark room so everyone is doing the follow the leader then they are obviously startled and hit them with a huge camera flash and take a picture.

When I worked at a haunted house we were told not to get near or touch people but we did and as long as people did not complain, you could pretty much do what you wanted. Today most Haunted houses barely have live actors, they just use noise and scary images to try and scare people, do to all the rules.
