I still don't get why people go with LED if quality if priority.
I've had UN55C7000, UN46C6500, PN50C7000, PN51D7000 and plasma takes my cake. (I bought LEDs first to test out and returned them and my plasma was broken and got a new one as their courtesy replacement)
While UN 7 and 6 series and serious contrast ratio and all, still 7 series Plasma has much richer picture quality. And there are virtually no difference between 7 & 8 series as you can crack your 7 series to have 8 series controls. Hardwares are same. So you are paying the premium for the bazel design and remote control.
