As for the original post, who cares? What he does on a daily basis doesn't change my life in the slightest, so whatever, he can do whatever he wants, it's his life. Anyone who lets stuff like this, that other people do, effect them have some serious self esteem issues... Let people live their lives the way they want and live yours the way you want. I dunno why people feel the need to judge everyone else all the time.

I don't hate him for his money. I couldn't care less. It's true that money can sort of buy happiness. How many happy homeless people have you seen? But then again, I've definitely seen plenty of sad, rich people. Money helps, but it's not a solution.

I hate him because of this:

He is a divorce attorney from Long Island, which while not being prima facie wrong — lasts just as long as the point in which you realize the kind of divorce attorney he is. Here's his website, where he doles out advice on how to deal with pesky spouses who claim you abuse them. Just watch the video.

Making money on others' misery. If he invented some vaccine, some helpful gadget, or even some semi-interesting website or something similar, sure, enjoy the money, you earned it.

There are plenty of lucky people in the world. Plenty of his classmates from law school aren't nearly as wealthy as him. People are born into a Saudi royal family and make him look like HE'S the burger king employee. But flaunting money which is earned through legal, yet dishonest and borderline ethical means, just makes you kinda want to take a bat to his car. Or to his head.

Pretty much. It's a job just like anything else, and someone has to do it. I doubt you'll ever find a lawyer that will handle your divorce for free because he doesn't want to make money off of your sadness...

A lot of assumptions there. You're assuming what makes you happy (a home, security, etc) makes other people happy too.

IMO, it's impossible to know what really makes him happy. He could be very happy in a small house, with a nice car, and a hot (but plastic looking) chick in his arms. Or, he could be a very sad individual just trying to pretend. Only he really knows this.

Lots of people in this thread presuming to know how he thinks and feels, and to me that makes some of you just as judgemental and douchey as he seems to be. Besides, if someone living their life like that gets to you so bad that you do anything more than shrug your shoulders and say "IDGAF," then you have some issues yourself that you need to work out...
