play with tomtom go 920 couple days. signal is okay, i can choose abc keyboard or us keyboard. voice pick up is good, but can only input city and street, not house number. blue tooth is pretty good. day and night screen switch is not working, i have to switch it manually, instruction is not clear, such as "keep left and turn right", how can i keep to most left and turn right? it will cause accident. and tell me to exit, the freeway exit only 3/4 miles away, and the next one is 2 1/4 miles away, it told me exit after 2 miles. didn't read the exit name out, so i assume is the second exit. but is not!!! so i miss the exit, and it didn't re route me for next exit, (which i didn't listen to navi and exit, and i'm fine with finding the route), it told me go down few more exit to make u turn. that's stupid. so i will give this tomtom 3/5 stars. not so great product for that price.

I have the TomTom GO910, bought solely for the maps (Europe and USA) for my ED. The damn thing froze on the day I dropped off the car! I turned it on to route my trip to the Harms drop off point and all I heard was the HD spinning. I couldn't get it to stop, no matter what I tried, so I had to just let it run out of batteries (about 2 days later). I took it back to Best Buy, who let me exchange it for anything they had and I ended up getting the same thing.
Does anyone know if i can connect the unit to play over my car stereo via bluetooth?

Just took my nuvi 350 across country with me to colorado. Acquired signal instantly and took me everywhere I needed to go. It was a lifesaver since I drove almost 1000 miles throughout my trip in the state.

I took my POS TomTom to go to Miami (Florida's toilet). The damn thing kept freezing, then restarting, and trying to send me back home. Even when I deleted the route and turned it off, it would automatically restart and do the same thing over and over. It finally shut up when the battery died. I would definitely not recommend TomTom.

A friend of mine just bought the Garmin Nuvi 350 and he said it sucked. He had it route him from his house to the train station, and while sitting in front of the train station, the Garmin still showed him to be a mile away. |

I dont know anyone who is unsatisfied with a Garmin unit. Your friend probably just wanted to complain about it. If you werent there to see it, its hearsay.

Well, it is the second GPS he's tried. The first was the el-cheapo TomTom One 3rd edition. I don't know if he's tried to do any updates on the Garmin. He's bringing it in on Thursday, so I can have it route me to El Pollo Loco. We'll see how it performs then. Oh, but he did like my Magellan 4250. Update: I asked him if he had updated the Garmin, and he hadn't. He was going to update it today and try to have it navigate him to the train station again tomorrow.
