Really? You couldn't send one of your 6 employees who weren't doing anything to the grocery store 2 miles away to get some?
You know that's a lawsuit waiting to happen... Plus, most of those employees probably don't even know what celery looks like and reading comprehension isn't always very high.

I agree with most of that.

Although I worked in restaurants through high school and college we would always send someone to get produce if we ran out or go to another location to pick stuff up.

The "Close Door" button in the elevator in my office building doesn't actually close the door so I have to wait 4 seconds for it to automatically close. Sometimes this is longer if someone tries to get on as the door is closing.

I agree, but even if that was 5 years ago, that was still a lot more okay than now. If mommy found out that Timmy had to go to the store unsupervised while he was supposed to be at work, you know damn well that there would be a huge fit thrown. I have a buddy who owns a bunch of different sub shops around here and he basically told me that if he needs something, he has to go and get it himself or send a manager while he watches the store since apparently it's some kind of huge deal now if they were to leave the store while on the clock.

The problem is that if they are on the clock for a company, the company is responsible for their safety. That means the companies insurance is liable if he gets in a car accident on the way to/back from the store, or if anything else happens.

Tomorrow is the last day to test drive an Audi A7 for $100. Dark Souls 5 comes out at 2 pm tomorrow for Xbox and I can't be everywhere at the same time

Wait does Audi seriously charge for test drives ? I've never heard of that before. I always assumed prospective buyers can get free test drives of any car whenever they want.

I just looked it up. Audi is paying people $100 to test drive their car. I don't know what's more laughable, paying for the "privilege" to test drive a car or having to pay people to test drive your product

When they find out you're not really interested they usually just give you the code.....I almost missed the start of a Canadiens / Bruins game getting $50 from GMC. That was some serious FOMOH for a $50 gift card.....which I used to buy 3M furnace filters....6 of the red ones.....

I have been trying to get a hold of my hair cut lady for the past week (must have been on vacation).

I'm hoping she is in work today (nobody works Mondays in this small town apparently?). I have a hard time breaking free and going to someone different to cut my hair due to some bad experiences down here.

No problem, just get them to send the new place your haircut records like Sheldon.

Well, since the husky girl I usually go to wasn't in, so I bit the bullet and asked for anyone to give me a haircut.

It ended up being the most gorgeous blonde bombshell from Texas.

First world problem, how do I let my SO know I found someone else?

I believe that the best way to do it is set all of her belongings on the curb followed by a quick text message to her phone saying "You're out, traded you in for a newer, younger, better looking model." She should be able to move on then as she will no longer have ties to you.*

*Results may vary, proceed with caution.

Well, she did get a one way ticket to MI and flew out last week, so I technically could just tell her to not bother coming back and a moving company will have her stuff there in a couple days.

Finding a reasonably priced moving company is hard though. I would have a servant make the arrangements for you.

This is actually very insightful, for a minute I almost took time out of MY day to set things up. Unfortunately I don't think I can trust my servant, my Twinkie stash and Hustler pile has been slowly diminishing, I think I have a thief.

Just can't find good help anymore.
