Haha silvergray545 I had some pics of me wearing them but not in the mood to be photoshopped

The quality on these things is almost as ridiculous as their price.

$3k on jackets to actually keep you warm? haha what a waste...

#datcaliweather where we spend $1000 on a jacket hoping we can one day wear it

Person A: why you wearing that jacket? It's like 62 degrees
Person B: (Thinking: Because I paid a thousand for it and need to wear it) ohh, it was like 50 when I left the house and didn't want to carry it around.

So the cock sucker providing the granite quoted me $64 per SF for a 62 SF slab when he was standing next to me as i was picking the slab.

He calls yesterday telling me it's going to be $88 per SF. WFT?!?! We went round and round and he denied quoting me $64/sf. There was a 3rd guy there who works for the company i'm contracting with who confirmed what i heard and he said. Still wouldn't come off of it. I told him to fuck off and i'm going to look at some other granite at a different place tomorrow.

Muthafucker! That's the type of jack ass you want to punch in the throat on principle alone.

I really liked that frigging slab though. And i've got about 2.25 hours into choosing it already.

That sucks. That's a big difference in price. As much as I like it and as much as you have a time investment in it, I'd probably be inclined to pass and get something elsewhere just on principle. I can be stubborn like that. Smarter thing to do is probably shop around but buy it in the event you can't find something you like equally well at a better price, if it can fit in project budget. It is really nice.

Good eye. If I were to recommend just 1 variety of Crown Royal, (although I enjoy them all) it would be this one here I bought and tried for the first time past Summer. It is exquisite.

Found a couple other slabs we liked today. Level 6 and 7 of course. Happily, the wife liked the original choice better. We found one that was quite similar. Ignore the remnant piece in front of the main slab in the bottom pic. The other two are called Twilight and Fusion.

The top one is interesting too, so what did the third one come priced in at? Went to a different place I assume?

I like that third one because it still has that puterspace feel to it , either that or the second one.

Yes, we went to a different place and chose the bottom one. Came in at the same expected price we budgeted for. Only hiccup is that the slab is over all smaller and will require an extra seam to make it work. Not ideal, but at this point i'm over it.

I am not asking to stir anything up. I just want to understand: why no weapons? Are we at a point in society where just looking at a gun is dangerous? Also, was it really necessary to crybaby the moderator?

Yes looking at a picture could lead to wanting then who know what. Everyone knows they must be locked up or will run around and cause chaos on their own.

A while back, a couple of members went off the deep end about being offended by all the pics of weapons. Started a heated debate that lasted about 3 weeks and the administrators had enough of it and ended it. Simple as that.

Seeing things progress over the last year, it may just be regulated to this thread. There is a Fire Arms (not to be confused with Firearms) thread that's been open for a while. We're trying to not make a big deal about it.
