One question though.. is it a little too soon to have production date scheduled on 1/31/2025, since we still have almost 45 days before car being produced? Perhaps, the factory may shut down for a few weeks for the holiday?
!
They do shut down but that would have nothing to do with it. The allocation is for a January build.

Thanks so much for your insight!
"prodDate": "2025-01-31" (this is the message I saw when using the "F12" process to get the production date). Does this date (1/31/2025) mean that the production begins on 1/31/2025 or does the production get wrapped up by 1/31/2025?

Both. It takes less than a day to assemble, about four hours.

Just hope that your car doesn't stuck in the Quality Check (QC) stage after the initial assembly! For most people, the car simply breezes through QC on the assembly day. But for me and some others, we had to wait another 2-4 weeks for QC.

My point being: just be patient, and moderate your expectations since delays can happen. But you'll enjoy your new car eventually.

Production for 30e started a bit later at the end of October.

There are a few arriving in Germany now. So first user feedback or reviews should come in January.

Welp, told myself I'd hold on to my 2023 G01 and wait for the new X5 to come out, but I was able to get a decent discount on a new M50 (6.5%) to where my monthly payment isn't changing much with no money down, so here we are. Submitted the order a few weeks ago with my CA and it has a production date of January 30th. Should hopefully be at the dealer by mid February but we'll see.

Vegas Red
1036M wheels (all season)
Black/Atlas Grey Merino
