My car actually. Finally got a little break from the rain in Houston so I could clean it up this afternoon. Not the best pictures obviously, but I wanted to get in out of the heat and mosquitoes.

08 135i. I thought I added the pictures correctly, but it's a possibility I didn't or they might not show since I've only been a member here for less than 24hrs. Either way, super excited to have my 1 and I'm enjoying reading through all the info on the forum.

Thanks! It's definitely more fun than my 328i was. Also the 1 people are all nice, whenever I see another one on the road they always wave and smile!

No wine? For shame...

I've never heard of Vic and Anthony's...I'll need to try it if I'm ever there. Of the Morton's, Hyde Park, Ruth Chris...I prefer the latter. Love a good bone in Ribeye.

we don't drink like at all

Vic and Anthony's is another premier steakhouse owned by Landry's Inc.

Landry's Inc is a privately owned restaurant corporation that started in Houston by the infamous Tilman Fertitta (he's a hero in Houston - very likeable and very generous with his fortune).

just so you know how premier Fertitta is, his company owns the Golden Nugget in Vegas, which is where another Vic and Anthony's Steakhouse is - there are only 4 in the country.

Morton's is great - owneed by Fertitta too

he has a laundry list of restaurants and steakhouses that are some of the best this country has to offer, including Vic & Anthony's, Morton's, McCormick & Schmicks, Brenners, Babins Seafood, Flying Dutchman, all the Rainforrest Cafes and all the Saltgrasses

$25 bucks for a server to bring out your food seems pretty good to me. Maybe he has bad service as well.

double the tax is usually the route i go as well. Capital grille is definitely one of my favorite steak houses in Houston, also love Taste of Texas. The Cowboy steak is amazing.

the best thing about Taste of Texas is that you can go in there wearing normal clothes.

you can still spend $190-200 for two people there, but they don't really care how you dress.

and Taste of Texas is waaaay more family friendly - amazing steaks too.
