if you can read the chart you see he is referring to the 2008 price of oil almost reaching 40$ in December 2008.

It's amazing what information can be found when you look around the internet.

For homework you can research your other questions on your own.

Personally, I am not too worried about demand side. I don't think there will be excessive change in demand this summer.

I'll throw one out there...

Opened a position in CSCO on Jan 12 and added to the position on Feb 5 for an average cost of $27.50/share because valuation has improved to 12x earnings, it's expanded the product line into security and services instead of focusing so heavily on just hardware, and increased the dividend.

Cisco reported earnings on Feb 12 and the stock jumped as a result. I'm currently up a little over 6% to date.

It did get quiet, I have no new positions to open. But I bought some FCX at 18.85 on 2/5/2015. Currently its at 21.22. I only see it going higher.

I wanted to open a new position on OIL LONG ETF this week, but I might wait a little longer.

I am putting my reputation on the line, but I just don't see how oil can rebound to 90-99 like energy analysts and economist thinks. I see $69/barrel by 7/4 IF and ONLY IF shaling activities continues, and no crazy geopolitical issues.

I'm considering selling my TWTR which is a 20% gain and putting that money in AAPL.

Glad to find this thread...I have what I assume is a relatively small portfolio that goes up and down as I buy toys. I also have my long term portfolio. I have been pretty big on airline for the past 6mos. Saw some really nice gains on DAL and JBLU. Recently just got back into them both and while DAL is lagging a little, there has been a ton of positive news regarding JBLU. In at $17.50...current $19.25
