With the cold temperatures, all the swampy areas are frozen over which makes trekking into the old logging trails manageable.

Weather guessers missed it again here. Overnight forecast was for a dusting of snow, but we actually got about 4 inches. So much for my plans of working on the outside of the almost-Mighty Freightliner today.....

We just got our second day of accumulating snow and its still coming down. Havent had more this much snow in the NYC metro area in over two years…its great!

Only an inch or so of snow yesterday, but of course it's bitter cold today, so it won't be going anywhere. Supposed to hit 60F on Wednesday, though. Crazy weather.

I went outside for a measly six minutes this afternoon, braving [barely] sub-freezing temperatures and biting 15 MPH winds to change the broken fuel tank cap tether on the getting-mightier Freightliner. My fingers started turning purple as I was holding the screwdriver, and it took a few minutes of running them under hot water when I came back inside to get them warm and feeling again.....
